NuWebMS ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by NuWeb Marketing Services LLC, mails community advertising cards to households on behalf of local businesses (our "Clients"). Each card has a QR code that opens an offer page, and Clients get a private dashboard to see their results. This policy explains what information we collect through https://www.nuwebms.com, our offer pages, and our emails, and how we use and share it.
If you claim an offer. When you submit an offer form, we collect the name, email address, and phone number you enter. We generate a redemption code for you, and we record when you submitted the form and whether the Client has marked your offer as contacted or redeemed.
Page visits. When someone scans a QR code or opens an offer page, we count the visit by date, time, and Client. That count is not tied to your name or contact details.
Preventing spam and abuse. To stop spam and repeated form submissions, we keep a short-lived record of offer page visits and form submissions. Each record contains a scrambled (hashed) version of the visitor's internet (IP) address, the type of action, which Client's page it was for, and the time. We use it only to limit repeat submissions and to avoid counting the same visit more than once. We do not use it for advertising or to build a profile of you, and we do not share it. These records are deleted automatically, typically within a week.
If you are a Client. We collect your business name, website, phone number, email address, offer text, and any feedback you give on ad designs. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive a record of each payment, including the amount and the name, email address, phone number, and business name you enter at checkout, but we do not receive or store your full card number.
If you ask about availability. When you submit the availability form on our home page, we collect your business name, category, ZIP code, your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and any message you write. We use it to reply to you and to follow up about advertising with us. We keep it for up to 24 months and delete it sooner if you ask.
Businesses we would like to work with. To tell local businesses about our advertising, we collect business names, addresses, phone numbers, and business email addresses from publicly available sources, such as online business listings and the business's own website. We use this only to contact the business about our service.
Technical information. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically log technical details such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is used for security and to keep the service running.
Our public pages and offer pages do not use advertising or analytics cookies or trackers. If you sign in to our staff administration area, your browser stores a sign-in session so you stay logged in. Client dashboards are opened with a private link and do not require an account.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the details homeowners submit through an offer page to market NuWebMS's own services to them.
With the business whose offer you claimed. The Client receives your name, phone number, email address, and redemption code so it can contact you and honor the offer. That business is responsible for how it uses your information, which is governed by its own practices.
With service providers that help us run the service. These currently include Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Stripe (payment processing). They may handle information only to perform services for us.
When required. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
By submitting an offer form, you agree that the business whose offer you claimed may contact you by phone, text, or email about that offer. You can tell the business to stop at any time, or email us at info@nuwebms.com and we will pass your request along and remove your details from our records.
If you receive an email from us about advertising and do not want more, reply "no thanks" and we will stop emailing you.
We keep the details you submit through an offer page for as long as the Client's campaign is active and for up to 24 months afterward, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time. We keep Client account records for as long as needed to provide our service and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
The short-lived anti-abuse records described above are deleted automatically, typically within a week.
Email info@nuwebms.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop us from contacting you. We will respond within the time required by law. We handle these requests the same way for all U.S. residents, and where your state's law gives you additional rights, we will honor those too.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including access controls on our database and private links for Client dashboards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
